This is on 27 March 1944 that 105 resistant fell under enemy fire.
The county Resistance Museum was established in this place in a former pasture by former guerrillas Plateau Glières cottage.
It traces the history of the maquis Glières and the release of the Haute-Savoie.
National cemetery Glières and Deportation Memorial pognants are two witnesses of the Second World War.

The Departmental Resistance Museum was built by the Survivors Glières in an old mountain chalet. It is dedicated to the Haute-Savoie during the Second World War.
The first floor is devoted to the Maquis Glières and release the department.

Departmental Memorial of the Deportation was created by the Association of Deportees, Internees and Families of the Haute-Savoie (UNADIF).
This site is rich in history, said the deportation of the Haute-Savoie resistant and includes testimonies from people who were deported to Nazi camps.

National Necropolis Glières: Founded in April 1944 to bury the fallen guerrillas in place, the cemetery collects the bodies of 105 resistant. He became National Cemetery in 1984.

From March 1st to March 31st 2022  : Monday to Friday, closed Tuesday.
From April 1st to 30th & from October 1st to November 15th : every day except Tuesday and Saturaday.
From May 1st to June 30th & from September 1st to 30th : every day except Tuesday. From 9:30 am to 12:30 pm & from 1:30 pm to 5 pm.
From July 1st to August 31st : every day from 10 am to 12:30 pm & from 2 pm to 6 pm.
