It found its final place in the harbor in 1891. It is equipped with a pumping station propelling 500 liters of water per second to 140 meters high and 200 km/h.
The Nations Palace
The United Nations headquarters, since 1946, is located in the heart of a vast wooded park overhanging the lake. It is the second largest United Nations center after the New York one.
